Ocean Eyes was created during a few month span where I was recovering from the near-death experience of a torn vertebral artery.
The ocean has always been my "happy place" and the image in my head when I think of peace and serenity and is an inspiration in much of my work.
Recovery is a part of everyone's lives in its own unique way. To live a life of recovery is "A process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and strive to reach their full potential."
